Big Bang Theory Season 6 Episode 17 Sheldon, on the other hand, first tries to have Alex buy Amy an expensive gift, but after he decides her first two options are worthless and the third he wants to keep for himself, he instead chooses to make Amy his emergency contact at the university. Amy is overwhelmed by the gesture (although later comes to be annoyed when it results in her getting daily calls about Sheldon's imagined medical emergencies), and the two have a pretty happy Valentine's.
Big Bang Theory Season 6 Episode 17 The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom serve as executive producers on the show, along with Steven Molaro. All three also serve as head writers. It premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007.
Koothrappali is put out when his date walks out in the middle of their evening, so he vows that he will forever stay put in his apartment. Meanwhile, Sheldon is quite impressed when he witnesses Penny's acting skills firsthand.
First up are Sheldon and Amy, who prove once again that they really are the only people who understand each other. At first, Amy wants to have an overly traditional date with a fancy dinner and presents, but she later recants this and offers to spend an evening at the apartment with pizza and a "Star War Trek" film instead, as she knows that's what will make Sheldon truly happy.
Howard and Bernadette, meanwhile, have been fighting recently due to her having to work all the time and him failing to pitch in at home. However, dinner out with a fighting Leonard and Penny makes them realize that their arguments aren't worth it, and the two of them agree to go home early to be alone together.
Big Bang Theory Season 6 Episode 17 Speaking of alone together, Raj convinces Stuart to throw a party at the comic book store that night for all the single people to have fun. It's actually a fun idea and Raj gives a really great speech about how no one should define their worth based on if they're in a relationship, but the sentiment is ruined when he meets a girl and leaves with her, shouting back that everyone at the party is a loser. I frowned at that, but I was actually so happy that there was a girl at the party (yay, representation of geek girls!) that I'm completely willing to let that go.
Also making me happy this week is the fact that they finally sort-of addressed Penny's commitment issues after her date with Leonard is a disaster. Penny admits that they've been quite happy lately and she knows eventually she'll say yes to one of Leonard's proposals and then that'll be it. Although it doesn't really go into the details of why she has these commitment issues,Big Bang Theory Season 6 Episode 17 the fact that they addressed them from her point of view (rather than solely focusing the story on how her issues affect Leonard) was a huge step forward. And Leonard's solution to the problem, (that he will never propose to her again and when she is ready, she can instead propose to him) was really sweet and touching.
Big Bang Theory Season 6 Episode 17 This was one of the more enjoyable episodes of the season, actually. Maybe I'm just a sucker for romance but it warmed my heart.
